I Do Not Need a Medium Format X100

I do not need a medium format X100. I am saying it out loud so I believe it. Fujifilm, you are killing me, bro.

I just said a ten megapixel camera is fine. And now I am getting the vapors over a hundred megapixel X100. What do I need a hundred megapixels for? I have the X100VI, forty megapixels, and you cannot tell the difference between it and the XT4 with its twenty four megapixels.

I love my X-Pro2. The greatest camera. So solid. I want to hold it and I want to caress it. Bad news: there is no X-Pro4 coming.

I have the X-E2. Lovely. Compact. Kind of pocketable with the pancake lens.

And do not get me started on the Pentax half frame. I lived in half frame hell. My father bought a half frame Olympus in 1967, original paperwork, 1.4 lens, built like a tank. He used it for family photos and newspaper work. Half frame is halfway to hell. And before you ask, the rumored Fujifilm half frame is digital, not film.

So. I do not need a medium format X100. Do I need a medium format X100? Looks like I do.
