I Got the X100VI and You Don’t

I got the X100VI and you do not. Nanny nanny boo boo. You got taken off the waiting list.

Okay, I am kidding. Mostly.

It is fun. It is tactile. It is solid. It is perfect. It hangs right there, and the chicks dig the retro.

I am going to shoot straight out of camera with the Fujifilm film simulations. Velvia. Provia. And yes, I am pronouncing them correctly, I worked at Ritz Camera.

Here is my philosophy. Nobody looks at your photos for longer than 2.6 seconds. So whether you labored in Lightroom and Photoshop or let the camera do it, it does not matter. Jokes on Adobe, taking ten ninety one a month.

This video was shot on either my X-H2 or my Samsung Galaxy S23 or Abraham Zud’s movie camera. Can you tell the difference? Do you care? I do not know an F-log from a G-log.

Boy do I got the GAS. But street photography is about being outside, hunting light and shadow and subjects, racking up ten thousand steps.

I will sell you this camera for one million dollars.

Do not take me seriously. I am just having a good time.
