Ricoh GR IV Monochrome: $2,200 for Fewer Parts?!

Did you see what they are charging for the Ricoh GR IV Monochrome? Pre-orders are open. $2,200.

What does it come with, a parrot? Did Leica buy Ricoh? For $2,200, a GR ambassador better show up at my house once a week to help me carry it. (He will not.)

Here is the math. No anti-aliasing filter. No color filter array. Fewer components than the regular camera. More money. For a black and white camera.

And the worst part? I have been leaning hard into the black and white coming out of my GR III Street Edition, and I like the images. I can almost talk myself into it. Almost. $2,200. Hey.
