Porto, Portugal. Another beautiful European city, and I am shooting the night with the Ricoh GR III.
“There’s something about the size, the speed, the simplicity… it just gets out of the way and lets you see.” No overthinking. No hesitation.
The video is mostly a montage of the night’s photos: a couple through a tram window, a woman in front of a weathered poster wall, the classic yellow Tram No. 22, a cafe street buzzing with cyclists and pedestrians. The GR III’s night shadow detail is something else.
“this camera and its brothers are going to make me sell everything else but these cameras.” Am I serious? Maybe. Am I crazy? Also maybe.
