You have waited long enough. How did the Fujifilm X100VI fare in a torrential downpour?

Look at the pictures. Gorgeous, right? And the camera is none the worse for wear. You want to know why?

I may look dumb, but I am not stupid. You think I am taking a $1,500 camera I cherish like my own children out in a rainstorm? I don’t take my children out in the rain. These cameras are not truly weather sealed, whatever the marketing says. Look at the complaints from people whose cameras bricked after getting wet.

I don’t need to shoot in the rain that badly. I will wait for sunny days and work with light, color, and weirdos.

Oh, and every one of those rain photos? Created by artificial intelligence. Kind of scary, isn’t it? Where are we, people?
