You know you love a camera when you make the “is it still good in 2025” video and the “is it worth $1,000 used in 2025” video and neither one contains a single negative word. That was a love letter, not a review.
So this is the diss track. Let me go to my notes, because I genuinely had to look up the bad things.
No in-body stabilization. Fine. Raise the shutter speed, push the ISO to 6400, the files hold up. No touchscreen. Also fine. It has a D-pad and a joystick, and touchscreens just collect fingerprints. 1080p video. I do not shoot video on it, and neither do you.
This is the problem with trying to roast the X-Pro2. Every flaw has a shrug attached to it. It is a 2016 camera that still embarrasses newer ones. Watch me fail at hating it.
