I’m heading out for long lens street work on a Saturday morning, keeping my distance, because you know how people are after a Friday night, when I have an epiphany. Or the dumbest thought of my life. TBD.
Other than RAW, there is no setting on a Fujifilm camera to shoot a plain JPEG with no film simulation. No Velvia, no Astia, no Provia, no Chrome. Just… nothing. A naked JPEG. It doesn’t exist.
And maybe that’s the point. Maybe the whole reason for a Fujifilm camera is the film sims, because Fujifilm is known for film. Maybe asking Fuji for a JPEG with no sim is like asking a BBQ joint for a salad.
But if the answer is just shoot RAW, then once again, I am the dumbest Fujifilm YouTuber out here, and I accept the crown.
