The Fujifilm X-M5? Is It For Real?

All right, Fujifilm fanboys, of which I am one.

There’s an announcement floating in the ether that the X-M5 is coming, the replacement for the X-M1. There’s my beautiful X-M1, which I had and got rid of, then replaced with the X-A1, which is a piece of crap. I wish I had the X-M1 back, because it would complete my Fujifilm X-Trans sensor lineup. I guess I need them all. I have the X-Pro2, had the X-T2, got the X-T4, got the X-H2. I don’t even know what I have anymore.

The teaser says you can put it right in your pocket. I don’t know anybody who actually pockets a camera they don’t want to sit on. A jacket pocket, maybe. A pants pocket is a lens funeral waiting to happen.

So. Are you excited about the X-M5? Because I am contractually incapable of not being interested in a new Fujifilm, and I need to know if that’s just me.
