This Wildlife Photo Won an Award? I Don’t Get It.

This wildlife photo won an award, and I don’t get it.

It is a Wildlife Photographer of the Year winner. Somewhere in all that snow and ice, there is a mountain hare. I have stared at it like Bigfoot footage, frame by frame, and I see snow, ice, and confusion.

“Once you finally ‘see’ the rabbit… you still kinda don’t.”

I am not saying it is a bad photo. I am saying I cannot find the hare, and I have looked. The meme version of this with “what the…” written across it pretty much sums up my reaction.
