Street Photography Without The Bullshit.

My Street Photography Walk with the Canon R8 Changed Everything About My Fitness

Somebody once said golf is a good walk spoiled. I have spoiled plenty of walks on purpose, with a camera. It is the only exercise I have ever figured out how to do without hating every second of it.

Tell me to go do cardio and my brain negotiates like it is a hostage situation. Hand me a camera and tell me to go see what the world is doing, and I will accidentally walk five miles.

The walk disappears. I stop counting steps. Light hits a brick wall like stage lighting, a shadow lands like it was placed there on purpose, and the city starts collaborating.

Do I always come home with a masterpiece? No. Sometimes it is one decent shot and a bunch of almosts. But the walk did what the walk was supposed to do. It moved the needle on my health while the camera moved the needle on my soul.
