Is this Sony Lens Broken? Sony A6700 with 16-50mm Kit Lens.@JasonVong HELLLLPP!

Help a brother out.

Just got the Sony a6700, a camera I have wanted since I sold my RX100V. But listen to this kit lens when it opens up. The 16-50mm. Listen closely.

Does that sound right to you? Because that cannot be right. It retracts without a problem, but opening? Something is grinding in there.

Jason Vong, where are you? I bought this camera on your recommendation. (Mostly.) Tell me if my lens is broken.
