Main Character Energy | POV Street Photography with Light, Color, and Big Personalities!

I was told the title of my last video, “Light, Color, and Weirdos,” was rude. That I should choose a different term for these people. What makes you any less weird than them, they asked. It takes one to know one, I said.

But fine. Today is the Rossini Festival in Knoxville, a celebration of opera, and in the spirit of opera we are upgrading the terminology. Not weirdos. Main characters. All these main characters working around Market Square. Nicer, right?

I still prefer weirdos. Honesty matters on this channel.

Shooting today on the tried and true X-T4, the camera I will never get rid of. Feels so good in the hand. Twenty-six megapixels, more than you will ever need, and the OG 16-55mm f/2.8. They make a lighter one now for you lightweights. This one is firm. Beautiful but strong. Like its owner.

Main character energy, captured by a weirdo.
