Oh, it looks precious. It looks cute. It’s like a little photography toy. Let me tell you something. I grew up on this camera. The Olympus Pen F. In my family since 1968, when my father bought it. I love this camera. Now let me show you the nightmare inside.
Half frame. You put in a roll of 36 and you have to shoot 72 pictures. I bet you can’t do it in a day. I bet you can’t do it in a week. I bet you can’t do it in a month. You want to see your pictures? You ain’t going to see them on a half frame camera. It ain’t going to happen.
Exhibit B. My Leica M6 has a roll stuck on frame 25 for the last year. Not kidding. And another camera has been stuck at 19 since forever. I will never finish these rolls. Never.
Be careful with the half frame hell that is this new Pentax. You don’t want it. You think you do. You don’t.
