I do not believe one bad apple spoils the bunch. But this is not good news for wedding photographers and videographers.
A 30 year old wedding photographer has been arrested for clandestinely filming a bride while she was getting ready. Which makes her naked, and makes it a crime. He's going to jail because his wife turned him in. She found the thumb drive, which had that and other explicit material on it, which I'm sure thrilled her just as much.
He had a great name for a wedding photographer, too. Mitch Ringness. R-I-N-G-N-E-S-S. Doubting he's going to book a lot of gigs from this point forward.
And his website says, let me read it to you verbatim. "We provide timeless yet captivating photos and videos that will do justice to your uniquely perfect love story." Although, be justice served.
Can you believe this is just a misdemeanor? Interfering with privacy. A $3,000 fine and up to a year in jail. Let's hope he gets the year, and let's hope every bride he ever filmed hears about it.
