I'm going to call a little BS on something.
"ISO is not an acronym," people say. Stop. If you're old enough to have shot cameras with ASA on them, American Standards Association, then you know where ISO came from. The International Organization for Standardization. If ASA was an acronym, ISO is an acronym.
I still say "ISO." I didn't say ASA as a word either. ASA was a soap opera character. ASA is what's on your camera. ISO is what's on your camera.
Wait. Now I'm confusing myself.
What do you think? Do you say the letters, or do you say the word, and does it matter at all? This is the kind of argument photographers have instead of taking pictures. Welcome to the channel.
