I am so tired of the ‘is this camera still good in 2025?’ videos. So I made one, except the answer is the one nobody wants to hear because it does not sell cameras.
If it has a sensor, or it takes film, and it is not broken, then it is still good in 2025. Or 2026. Or whenever you are reading this. A camera does not expire like milk.
To prove the point I shot this whole thing on my 10-year-old Leica Q. That f/1.7 Summilux lens, the same one on every Q except the Q3 43, is still amazing a decade later. Hat tip to paulreidphotography for the inspiration. Now stop asking if your camera is still good and go take pictures with it.
