The Colors of Yellowstone

I went to Yellowstone expecting mountains, wildlife, and geysers. I got all of that. But what stopped me cold were the colors.

Heat, minerals, and microscopic life create colors that do not look like they could exist in nature. But they do. Right here.

I am not going to explain Yellowstone to you. I am just going to show you what I saw.
