Photography news of the day. A photographer in Middle Tennessee, Kaleidoscope Photography by Shauna, booked hundreds of clients, took the payments, signed the contracts, did some of the work, and then never delivered. No photos. No email. Nothing. Clients are coming forward in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia, and the bill could hit $50,000 to $100,000 before it is over.
I love when people think it is 1877 and you can just walk two counties away and start a new life. (That is the story of my great-grandfather, but that is another story for another day.)
The moral here? Shoot JPEG. RAW takes too long to process. You get behind, you can’t keep up, and next thing you know you are a news story. Shoot JPEG, baby.
If Shauna took your money, call your local police department. And shoot JPEG. A lot easier to process.
