Street Photography Ponce City Market – Fujifilm X100VI

Ponce City Market is a photographer’s playground wearing a food hall costume. Old Sears building, great bones, endless texture, and a rooftop with the Atlanta skyline doing all the work for you.

I brought the X100VI, because it’s the perfect walkaround camera: small, quiet, and the JPEGs need nothing. Inside the market it’s all warm light and crowds and food stalls. Outside on the BeltLine it’s joggers, murals, and that golden-hour glow bouncing off brick.

The X100 series gets hyped for a reason, and the reason is days like this. You don’t think about the camera. You just shoot. Fixed 23mm lens, so you move your feet, work the scene, and let Atlanta do the rest.

If you’re in Atlanta with a camera and you skip Ponce City Market, I’m not mad. I’m just disappointed.
