Somebody commented on my GR III video about the “pendulum of heartbreak,” the camera swinging on a lanyard just waiting to smack into something. Fair point. It never swings further than my hand, but fair point.
So here is my confession after owning all of them. The thicker the strap, the more uncomfortable it is. The expensive Peak Design one? Those little connectors will give you rug burn on the back of your neck. (Ninety bucks. I know.) I went through the rope strap phase too. I have a drawer that proves it.
