Time for a rant. I love having a channel where I can rant.
I am so tired of camera reviews where the headline concern is battery life. The GR IV adds what, fifty or sixty shots over the GR III, and this is treated like news.
Here is the truth about battery life. If you are burning through 250 shots on a walk, you are not a casual shooter, and you already own four batteries. I shoot 15 to 30 frames when I go out. I have four batteries for the GR III and five for the Fuji bodies. I have batteries coming out of every bag I own.
And if you are shooting 500 frames on a GR III, what professional job are you on with a GR III? You have a power bank. Plug it in.
Review the camera. We will handle buying the extra batteries. Sorry. Rainy day. Car rant over.
