Photographers Are Making $300,000 per YEAR??

Am I the only one calling BS on this article? Photographers making over $300,000 a year. Not one guy once. Four point two percent of them. Worldwide.

There are super performers in every business. I believe that. I am a morning radio host, and if you asked people what I make, they would guess 40 or 50 thousand, and they would be significantly off. I make six figures, significantly so, and there are hosts in slightly bigger markets who make a lot more than me.

So yes, somebody made $300,000 in their best year. I believe that completely. What I do not believe is that one in twenty-five photographers does it every year, based on a poll of twelve hundred people who may have been answering a different question than the one that got printed.

Wedding photographers doing ten weddings a year are not clearing three hundred grand. The math does not math.
