Street Photography Without The Bullshit.

I’m hoping to reunite a camera with the family of a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran

Something really cool to share with you guys.

I did a little camera thrifting today and came home with an old Contax 3A, and in the box of stuff were a couple of very interesting things. There's the haul. The Contax 3A, a lens, weirdly a Nikon instruction manual and a Nikon camera in the mix, we'll get to that eventually.

But inside the light meter was a name. Lieutenant W.J. Maddox. I looked this man up. He became a Major General. Wait until you hear about his service to America. World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. One man, three wars.

I have the whole thing in the long form video, please go watch that, because there's also a photograph of a woman in that box, and I wonder who she is as well.

Maybe the family, if they find this video, can tell us who that was. And maybe this camera can find its way home.
